''But Jesus looked at them and said to them, ''With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
(Matthew 19:26)
Jesus made it clear that it was very difficult for a rich man to enter the Kingdom. He wanted them to understand something very important, ''nothing is impossible with God.''
Are you facing something in your life today that you consider impossible? Have you come to the point of saying “I give up, it can't be done!” God wants you to know that there is nothing impossible with Him.
Look at Jonah in the belly of the fish surrounded by gastric juices and sucked in seaweed. I would call that an impossible situation. For three days he ponders his choices and always comes to the same conclusion - he doesn’t have one. He blew it as a preacher; he was a flop as a fugitive; at best he is a coward, and at worst he is a traitor. But God delivered him and he became a successful preacher at Nineveh.
Look at Daniel in the lion's den. Jonah had been swallowed and Daniel was about to be. He could smell the breath of the lions.  It seemed impossible, but his successful career spanned the reign of four kings.
Look at Joseph in the pit. His brothers are laughing at him and getting ready to sell him into slavery. He will soon be in prison for doing the right thing. His friends lie to him and his situation is impossible. Joseph becomes the Prime Minister of Egypt and saves two cultures from starvation.
Who had the most impossible situation in all of history? It was Jesus. When they crucified Him and laid Him in the tomb, it seemed He was finished.  Nothing could be more impossible than this.  It was Friday . . . but Sunday was coming.
On resurrection morning, He came out of that grave alive. That same resurrection power is available to you. The resurrection makes winners out of losers. His power can turn your impossible into possibilities!
When you consider that there are more than 700 million people in Africa and most of them are lost, it seems impossible. It seems hopeless and impossible when you realize that up to 40% of many countries in Africa have AIDS and 25% of most countries have this deadly disease. Today as you pray for Africa remember that with God nothing is impossible. Pray for those missionaries with physical and spiritual needs in Africa today.
''Got any rivers you think are uncrossable?
Got any mountains you can't tunnel through?
God specializes in things thought impossible!
And He can do what no other power can do.”
