MEMORIZE TODAY
''Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets." (Matthew 7:12)

THE KEY TO THE KINGDOM
Every revolution carries within it the seeds of its own corruption. A revolutionary seeks to change society, but how does he change himself and keep himself changed?  If a revolutionary is not changed, the society will not be changed. How does he prevent slogans taking over from what was once the philosophy of the revolution? How does he stop clichés from becoming the main thing? In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus is not talking about political programs and action plans, but His interest and focus is people. Jesus is changing people, and that will change the culture.
We call today's memory verse ''The Golden Rule." It is the summation of the Sermon on the Mount. It is the mindset and lifestyle of a changed soldier of the Cross. This rule of revolution is the most concise, inclusive, ethical statement ever written or spoken. If it were obeyed by all mankind, there would be no need for armies, or law enforcement officers. There would be Heaven on earth. When this rule governs your life, you will be a part of changing the culture. But, now here is the bad news. This mindset and changed behavior pattern is impossible for you. Only the anointed, incarnate Son of God has the power to live by this concept. The truth is - it is only as He lives His life in you and through you, that you will demonstrate this to a darkened culture.
This rule becomes the expression of minimum requirements of all Christ's revolutionaries, but you must never lose sight of your own frailty and of the available power of the Holy Spirit to equip you to live by this revolutionary principle. Your job today as a revolutionary soldier of Jesus Christ is to be a yielded vessel through which Jesus Himself can demonstrate the Golden Rule to the lost culture.

PRAY FOR THE WORLD
We have often heard it said, ''To whom much is given, much is required.'' If that saying is true, and it is, perhaps the greatest spiritual need on the planet is in the United States of America. This nation, with more than 300 million souls, is the world's third largest nation in area and population. It is by far the most blessed nation in the world economically. It is powerful politically, technologically diverse, and leads the world in almost every area of economics and technology. The United States has a Constitution in which freedom of religion is a major part. No state in the world has been so strongly influenced by biblical Christianity.
Dr. Billy Graham led the way in making a spiritual impact on the United States, and literally the world. God has used this humble man to bring thousands to Christ, and to challenge the church to stay evangelistic. America was blessed with a great impact on men through an organization called Promise Keepers. There has been genuine renewal among Catholics with over 30% testifying to being born again. There has been a strong resistance to the evils of a corrupt culture through such organizations as “Focus On The Family”and others. In addition to this, the United States continues to be blessed as the wealthiest nation in the world. God has truly blessed America.
The great heartbreak is that the spiritual heritage of the U.S.A. is being eroded by a unholy alliance of humanist New Agers and homosexuals. The Christian church is not impacting the nation as it should. The U.S.A. needs revival, yet the word ''revival'' has been debased to mean slick, mass evangelism and theatrics. The need of the hour is a true revival with conviction of sin, repentance, and an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. This must be the focus of our prayer as we face an era of spiritual darkness in our nation

A WORD FOR YOUR WORLD TODAY
In the early days of the Republic, a stranger once asked at Congress how he could distinguish Washington. He was told, ''You can easily distinguish him when Congress goes to prayer. Washingtonis the gentleman who kneels."
